Process Automation Intern - Celestica

Incumbents carry out assignments within well-defined practices, procedures, and policies. Works independently on details of assignments, and has limited decision-making authority; most decisions are made or guided by the immediate supervisor. Decisions/actions may have an impact on the department's/divisions goals. Establishes cooperative relationships to work effectively with colleagues; supports others and participates as a team member, and takes responsibility for own work commitments. Interacts directly with immediate supervisor, co-workers, and team members; engages in routine exchanges of information; interactions with external contacts, if applicable, would be monitored. Strong initiative is required in resolving problems and making recommendations. Interfaces regularly with persons of higher positions. 

Performs tasks such as, but not limited to, the following: 
Support stakeholder relationships and effectively obtain information from stakeholders to document requirements. 

Liaise with stakeholders globally and accurately capture the information provided in a format stakeholders can understand. 

Interacting with subject matter experts (SMEs) from all areas of the organization, this role must document solutions prior to build, creating transparency and adhering to audit controls in a highly scrutinized environment. 
Operating within a team environment, this role works closely with local and international counterparts to share knowledge. 
Automate existing processes using RPA software. 
Fine tune performance and operation issues that arise with RPA Bots. 
Function as integrator between business needs and technology solutions, helping to create technology solutions to meet clients business needs. 

Candidate must be able to follow RPA configuration best practices, configure new RPA processes and objects using core workflow principles that are efficient, well structured, maintainable and easy to understand. 

The ability to learn in a fast-paced environment is critical, as the role is expected to comprehend and transform existing business processes into automated solutions within short timeframes. 
Passion for process optimization and continuous improvement 
Good database management and computer skills. 
Ability to manage multiple, detailed projects to a successful end while working under tight time deadlines. 
Strong interpersonal skills and ability to effectively communicate with a wide variety of internal clients. 
Good working knowledge of the principles and philosophies of total quality management and high-performance work systems. 
Demonstrates a keen desire to continually learn and grow. Motivated by successes. 
Has a strong sense of loyalty to the organization and its overall success 
Broad understanding of global business environment 
Working knowledge of e-Business processes, applications, and system integration. 
Working knowledge of IT concepts and integrated business applications. 
Excellent communication and negotiation skills 

Education: currently enrolled in a University Internship program completing 3rd year of a 4 year program.
