The Patient-Centered Outcomes Research Institute (PCORI) is offering a Summer Internship to a qualified candidate who will support the Research Infrastructure team. This paid Internship is a full-time, temporary employment opportunity averaging 30-40 hours per week for a postgraduate student. PCORI does not provide housing for out of town residents. All applicants must be eligible to work in the US. Interested parties may apply for internships in multiple departments; please include a specific cover letter for each position.
Interns shall be classified as temporary, part-time employees who are hired as interim replacements, to temporarily supplement the workforce, or to assist in the completion of a specific project and who are temporarily scheduled to work less than PCORI's full-time schedule for a limited duration. Employment beyond any initially stated period does not in any way imply a change in employment status. Temporary, part-time workers are not eligible for PCORI benefits.
Current master's level and above students will be paid $20 .00 per hour.
The primary project for the Research Infrastructure intern will be to create a series of power point decks covering Research Infrastructure Department programs and initiatives that can be used for presentations and to respond to information requests. The project would include working with RI Program Officers to understand the communication needs, working with Program Associates and Assistants to understand existing content and collecting additional information, and eliciting and incorporating feedback on the presentations.
A secondary project will be to assist the department Program Associates and Assistants in ensuring that the Salesforce records of various RI contracts are accurate and up to date. Both projects will allow an intern to gain a full understanding of PCORI's Research Infrastructure initiatives and the opportunity to showcase and further develop communication and presentation creation skills.

The Research Infrastructure team seeks a currently enrolled graduate student seeking a MPH, MHA, MA/MS in health-related field with experience in communications and presentations creation. Experience working with Salesforce would be preferred.
