About the company
The Airports Authority operates a two-airport system that provides domestic and international air service for the mid-Atlantic region. The organization consists of more than 1,000 employees in a structure that includes central administration, airports management and operations, and police and fire departments. In addition to operating Ronald Reagan National and Dulles International Airports, the Airports Authority is responsible for capital improvements at both airports.
This is a non-career, temporary position.
♦ Works under the direct supervision of a Department Manager or other staff. ♦ Serves in a Department or Office which may be located at Washington Dulles International Airport, Ronald Reagan Washington National Airport, or the Headquarters Office. Performs a variety of assigned activities in designated unit/team in support of the Airports Authority’s operations. May take on more complex or varied responsibilities as knowledge and experience increase, as appropriate. Performs related functions.
1. Enrollment in a college/university at the time of application.2. A college major/pre-major in Accounting or Finance.3. Evidence of (a) skill in using office equipment such as, computers (and related software such as Microsoft Office, Word and Excel. 4. The ability to communicate effectively with internal and external business contacts. 5. Must have your own housing arrangements.
