Join our growing Security IP team, located in Kanata, as an intern where you will work with full-time team members to grow your skills in design, development, test, integration, and maintenance of software development kits, applications, and cryptographic libraries. Work will depend on the applicant's skills and aptitudes.
The successful candidate will be enrolled on a full-time basis at an accredited college/university program: completion of 1st year ( or equivalent ) in EE, Mathematics, Systems Engineering, Software Engineering or Computer Science.
Desired Skills and Aptitudes
C/C++ development, debug, and testing using GNU tools such as gcc, gmake, and gdb
Ability to work in a structured software development environment working on specifications/coding/testing
Ability to work in a mixed hardware/software development team
Strong communication (written and verbal) and positive interpersonal skills
Scripting languages such as perl or bash, automation tools such as Jenkins
Linux background, including device driver and kernel module development
Android/iOS/Win32 application development
